You are cordially invited to the Temple Emanu-El's Women's Seder. Please join us to celebrate women's voices through the ages - led by women, for women.
We will use a Haggadah originally created by the Temple Emanu-El Women's Seder Liturgy Committee. This version highlights the courageous women who are integral to the story of the Exodus but are often left out of the traditional telling. With this unique Haggadah, we will recount the story of Passover, with its sweeping themes of oppression and liberation, and include all the significant elements of a traditional seder, while simultaneously underscoring the importance of women’s collective and individual histories in our lives and our tradition.
We hope you will enjoy and participate in the seder, learn something new, relate to the story of the Exodus in a different way and make new connections with the women in our community.
